IFA Member

The International Franchise Association (IFA) began 56 years ago and is the largest organization that represents franchising worldwide. Through government relations, public policy, media relations and education, the IFA enhances and promotes franchising. Over 300 industries are represented through IFA.

The IFA works to educate franchisors and franchisees on beneficial methods and practices for improving franchising.

There are many benefits to being a member of the IFA, including shared ideas, networking, and opportunities for advice. Franchisors have access to custom research, discounts on franchising publications, enhanced opportunities for attending franchise exposes, educational and professional development conventions and seminars, and much more.

In 2014, more than 13,000 franchisees and 1,300 franchisors were members of IFA. Fransocial, a social network for franchisors and franchisees, had a 126% increase in individual discussions and 24% more members visited the network that same year.

Though memberships are available, non-members can also find an array of information on opening a franchise and funding a new business opportunity. Learn more about the IFA by visiting http://www.franchise.org.
